Para recomendar algo, se utiliza el verbo to recommend con las siguientes estructuras:

to recommend + somebody + to do something
I recommend you to visit Edinburgh.

to recommend that + somebody + do something
I recommend that you walk along the promenade.

to recommend + gerund
I recommend eating local food.
