(Make a cup with one hand)
And here's a pot of tea.
(Hold the other hand up with the fingers bent over and the thumb stuck out)
Pour a cup.
(Make pouring action)
Have a drink with me.
(Make drinking action)
- Before the song, show the students how to shape their hands to make a cup and a teapot. Show the students how to pretend they are drinking and pouring.
- After the song, show the students a real cup and a teapot. You can also make tea in class and let them drink some.
