What would I do if I won a million dollars?
(Sent by Ana Carina Ruiz, a student from Mar del Plata, Argentina)

With a million dollars, I would make plans on a list starting for myself , my family and friends.

If I win won the lottery, I would quit my job and put myself to study in the university and also I would travel to the most amazing places all over the world. Then I would help my family, for example, my mother needs new furnitures and a car. My brother needs a big track for his work, and my sister wants to travel to Europe.

If I would be were a lucky one, I  would give my friends a hand to open a company or store, thus they can could have a job and good salaries too.

Winning a million dollars can be very beneficial because most of the things I really want to do involve money.

There is a small possibility to win but it can be real. So, you keep playing (without obsession) and you never know if you will be the next lucky person!

TIP: When you want to talk about a hypothetical situation (like winning the lottery) you use the Conditional Type 2: If + past + would. For example, If I win won a million dollars, I would buy a big house. Click here to learn more.
