I love singing
(Sent by Patricia Rodriguez, a student from Buenos Aires, Argentina)

I love singing.

In fact, I study the art of singing, and believe me, it's not easy at all.

At first, I used to think that I had a good voice and that I could sing almost everything, but then, when I began to study I realized that there were many things to take into account, things such as breathing, body position, rhythm and time. Out of question is the matter of tuning; luckily, I have the gift of tuning, that's not a problem to me but the matter of time.

It's essential you hear and follow the time of the song, to stop at the silence, to go on at the right time, not before, not after and there it's my weak point. Of course, I work very hard to revise this terrible mistake. There are very good rhythmed rhythmic songs, that you could follow very easyly easily but there are many others where it is not so clear.

Then, there is the other question: to sing before an audience, thing that I love to do, but not all the people who study singing enjoy singing before an audience.

And, at that moment, you have to fight with your nerves an internal struggle begins at your mind and body. On one hand, you're afraid of forgetting the lyrics of the song and on the other hand, you have to tune, to be in time, and mainly, to transmit the audience the meaning of the song, the feeling of the song with your expression, your movements and your voice's inflection.

To sum up, it's a world. Only somebody who is in this field knows all the things (beautiful things) that this art moves.

Singing changes your mood, opens your spirit and heart, oxygenates your lungs and makes you feel better.

Lastly, it doesn't matter how you sing, just only sing.
