Dream and nightmare
(Sent by Ana Sofía León Mestanza, a student from Trujillo, Peru)
When I was a little girl, my greatest dream was to have a dog as a pet, so I
asked my father whether or not I could have a dog and he told me: Yes.
Although
my mother disagreed, my dad came made
my dream true with the purpose of making me happy. Therefore, I played every day with my good-natured
dog. We took a ride in
the park. Those were unforgettable moments.
However, something really bad happened
while I was at school. My mom opened the door and my dog ran away. She told me
she tried so hard to bring it back, but she couldn't.
I felt a big hole in my
heart and also I sobbed my heart out for a long time. Although she apologized, it
was useless.
Finally, I wished I hadn't gone to school that day to avoid it.
