Tech-free week

Could you survive a week without technology? What about a week without your mobile phone? In my case, this is probably the device that I use the most. However, I tried it and here is what I noticed.

First of all, every day I use my phone as an alarm clock. Naturally, that had to change. I relied on my old alarm clock and it took me some time to find it.

Then, in the bus to school I usually put on my headphones and listen to the music on my phone, but this week I just struggled to not to fall asleep.

In the afternoon, I was compelled to do my homework, instantly I couldn't get distracted by my phone! But I normally use the device as a calculator, or as a dictionary. No way that week! Incredibly, doing my homework took me much less time and I had a lot of free time! I had a dilemma with that, I didn't know what to do, but I finished reading a book.

All in all, I wouldn't say that I liked not having my mobile. Predictably, I missed it a lot. Obviously I survived, and I really expected it to be harder.
