NORM: Hey, you're Jake, right? Tom's brother? You look just like him. Sorry, I'm Norm Spellman, I went through avatar training with him. He was a great guy, funny. It was a big shock to all of us.
JAKE: Yeah.
NORM: And obviously you look like him. I mean, if you weren't genetically identical, you wouldn't be taking over his avatar.
JAKE: That's why I'm here.
NORM: So, you want to go check it out?

training	entrenamiento. El verbo to train significa entrenarse.
yeah	Forma coloquial de yes (sí)
to take over something	asumir algo, hacerse cargo de algo
to check something out	verificar algo, inspeccionar algo, comprobar algo

JAKE: Look, um, I know you probably don't understand this. But thanks. Thank you. I owe you.
NEYTIRI: (in Na'vi) Forgive me. May your spirit run with the Great Mother.
JAKE: I would have been screwed if you hadn't come along... Hey, wait. Wait! Where are you going? Slow down a second, will you? I just want to thank you for killing those...

um	Interjección usada cuando no se ha decidido lo que se dirá a continuación. Equivale a la española "eh..."
to understand	entender, comprender. Las formas del pasado son understood, understood.
to owe somebody something	deber algo a alguien. La expresión I owe you significa "Te debo una, estoy en deuda contigo".
to forgive somebody	perdonar a alguien
may	Cuando una oración comienza con may se trata de una expresión de deseo. En este caso, "Que tu espíritu vaya con la Gran Madre".
to be screwed	estar arruinado
to come along	venir, presentarse
to slow down	disminuir la velocidad, detenerse
will you?	Se utiliza para realizar un pedido o solicitar un favor. Will you phone me later? (¿Me llamarías más tarde?), Shut the door, will you? (Cierra la puerta, ¿quieres?).
to thank somebody for something	agradecer a alguien por algo. Notar el uso de la preposición for.
whatever I did	lo que sea que haya hecho
